ONE TLC is a family business run by mother and daughter team, Charlotte and Sara. Sara Hanna is the Managing Director and head designer and Charlotte Ayoubis the Old TLC logoDirector of Sales and Marketing.

TWO originally started in Egypt in Cairo where MD, Sara, lived with her Egyptian husband at the time.

THREE 'TLC' actually stands for The Leotard Company, which became TLC Sport in 2000 when they stopped making leotards that were so popular in the 80s and 90s.

FOUR TLC is based in Northampton and manufactures all of its clothes in its own factory in Egypt.

FIVE Sara is a fully qualified fitness instructor, who trained with Jane Fonda in America. She taught fitness classes in Cairo and would always be asked where she got her outfits from, which lead to her making leotards and activewear for her students and eventually, The Leotard Company was born. You can watch videos of Sara's classes here 

SIX Charlotte, before joining the family business, was on course to pursue a career in law, after graduating from Warwick University.

SEVEN TLC has been designing and manufacturing activewear for over 30 years – and celebrated its 35th birthday in 2016!

EIGHT TLC sells in retailers across the UK, Europe and the US, supplying activewear to major companies such as, Rosemary Conley, Tesco, Virgin Active Gym and TK Maxx.                   

NINE When Sara and Charlotte are not designing activewear they like to relax by indulging in their favourite hobbies; walking, cooking and wine!

TEN TLC employ over 60 people in their Cairo factory.
